St. Jude Thaddaeus                                                           St. Francis of Assisi

Welcome to the Worldwide Headquarters for the Franciscan Missionaries of St. Jude Thaddaeus (The Thaddeans)! We are currently seeking Ecclesiastical Approbation. The Thaddeans stand firmly in obedience to the Holy Father, the Magisterium, and the teachings of the Holy Mother Church. We look to the Holy Apostle St. Jude Thaddaeus, the Patron Saint of Hopeless Cases, as our spiritual father, and to St. Francis and St. Maximilian Kolbe as our leading spiritual brothers, and St. Thérèse de Lisieux and St. Faustina as our leading spiritual sisters.

Testimonium

“If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.  This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

-St. John 15.7-8

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

-St. Matthew 28.19

The Blessed Sacrament is the focal point of the life in the Thaddeans.  It is the love for Christ that we set out on different types of works.

Each Thaddean should be patient, humble, full of love, full of compassion, merciful, obedient, an imitator of Christ, evangelizer, missionary, teacher, brother, and servant.

The Thaddeans, in an effort to help combat the daily bombardment from a culture of secularism, prepare themselves spiritually through Divine worship, teaching of the Catechism, praying for those Souls included in our Memorial Chapel, Missions, Prayer, Devotion, Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Study of Catholicism, and Evangelizing. The Thaddeans, encouraged by the Holy Word of God, and the teachings of the Church are led to Apostolic action through Missionary Activities, Educational Programs, and other projects that address the human condition.  The Thaddeans go, and always will go, wherever there is a need by the Holy See or Diocesan Bishop, to help spread the teachings of the Church.  The Thaddeans will humbly volunteer to do whatever is asked of us.  Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam.

The Thaddeans have a laity organization:

You are invited to peruse our site and read more about our beliefs.  The Thaddeans warmly invite you to be a part of our wonderful and dynamic Ministry.  The Thaddeans pray that you discover, develop, and share your inherent gifts from God.  As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are called to discipleship by sharing our Catholic faith with all nations.

May God always grant you Peace, and May you always pray for the Lord to lead you in the best way to serve Him.  God bless you!

Your servant in the blood of Christ,

Br. Francis Thérèse
